【Egg Freezing Experience ❄️】

Recently, I made a rather brave decision. I went through egg freezing.
I had never imagined before that I would long for a family of my own. It truly feels like God has changed me. The more I came into contact with this faith, the more I realized how precious many relationships in life are. If these relationships can be built and nurtured from childhood, that is truly a very happy thing.
Over the past year, I have been traveling back and forth to Japan, which gave me many chances to see how my younger brother and his wife are building their family and raising their child. Seeing how adorable their daughter is, along with my friends’ children, made me begin to long for a family. It really makes me want to encourage people to have daughters.
Although I have not found my partner yet, I believe God will prepare that person for me, someone who will build a family with me.
Thank you to my friends for helping me prepare mentally beforehand and for sharing their professional consultation experiences. Because of you, I was able to go through this treatment with a healthy mindset. For the first time, I felt that I was so cool and so brave.
The whole treatment journey was actually quite lonely and required a lot of courage. I was very fortunate to meet Dr. Hui-Po Li at Yun-I Clinic. He explained every step and all of my body’s values very professionally. The medical team at Yun-I truly made me feel at ease. They reminded me every day about diet, medication, and everything I needed to pay attention to.
At first, I did not dare to give myself injections 💉, but they patiently helped me every day. By the end, I was no longer afraid at all and could do it completely on my own.
The most exciting part of each checkup was the ultrasound. I am very grateful to consultant Sister Feng, who accompanied me every time and made me feel reassured. I even kept holding her hand.
By the way, I learned something this time: after a blood draw, you must press on the site for 5 minutes. Also, do not carry heavy things or exercise too much afterward, or your arm may bruise!
On the day of the procedure, I told the anesthesiologist that I was nervous. He said, “Then I’ll just let you fall asleep later.” I remember saying that I felt a little dizzy and nauseous, and the next second, I was already in the recovery room.
After sleeping deeply for a while, I was still in a drowsy state. The nurses asked me to sit there until I no longer felt sleepy before going home, so I immediately wrote this reflection.
Thank you to my good friends for the loving fruit deliveries this past week ❤️ I ate plenty every day and felt fully nourished. My close friends also casually accompanied me to my appointments and even witnessed my very first injection, which made me feel very reassured.
Lastly, thank you to everyone for reminding me not to drink water after 10 p.m. the night before the procedure. I simply poured out the water right away. Also, thank you to my good friend who came to my home to document my self-injection process.
Thank you to my church friends who prayed for me yesterday. I am safe, healthy, and well! The weather was beautiful yesterday, and seeing everyone after such a long time made me truly happy.
Completing something brave made me feel like I had won a Golden Bell Award, with so many lines to say.
