【Good Pregnancy Story】The Moment I Received My Graduation Certificate from Dr. Li Was So Touching ❤️❤️
Ms. Y shared her story in a Google review:
Thinking back, it has probably been about 7–8 years without using contraception.
But I had never been pregnant…
I started with a general obstetrics and gynecology clinic, taking ovulation medication and going for follow-ups, but I never successfully conceived.
Later, my husband and I decided to begin the IVF journey.
At another clinic, I was told that I would need to have my fallopian tubes removed before doing IVF.
Feeling anxious and worried, I searched online and found Yun-I Fertility Center.
The first time I saw Dr. Li’s photo,
he looked like a very cool and serious doctor 😂
I kept bothering my husband and saying, “What should we do? Will the doctor be very cold and distant?”
I was overthinking everything 🤦🏻
On 2024-04-12, my husband and I went for our first consultation together.
The consultant was very professional and very friendly to IVF beginners like us 😍
She first introduced the process and understood our current situation.
After that, Dr. Li would personally explain and learn more about our condition.
Very soon, we decided to start treatment here.
Dr. Li told me that I did not need to have my fallopian tubes removed.
At that moment, I saw a beam of light, a beam of hope ❤️
Yun-I also has evening clinics, and it is appointment-based, so the waiting time is not too long.
This was also an important consideration for me~
After all, during treatment, I would not need to take too many days off work 😂
On 2024-05-13, the second day of my period, I started treatment.
After Dr. Li’s evaluation, he found that I had enough eggs,
so I could use a long-acting ovulation stimulation injection and avoid taking many extra shots.
2024-05-24 was egg retrieval day.
It was my first time lying on an operating table and my first time receiving anesthesia.
I was extremely nervous that day 😭😭
Fortunately, everything went smoothly, and 17 egg babies were retrieved 🤣
Dr. Li also gave me albumin that day.
During the recovery period, I did not develop ascites, and I did not feel too much discomfort.
On 2024-07-27, I returned for follow-up and started medication before embryo transfer ❤️
The medication helped the endometrium grow, and there was also medication to prevent blood clots.
Very soon, we set an estimated transfer date.
On 2024-08-12, the day of embryo transfer,
I drank an unbelievably huge amount of water, and my bladder was incredibly full and bloated 😭
Once again, I lay on the operating table, and Dr. Li performed the procedure himself.
Seeing the bright little spot on the ultrasound — that was the blastocyst itself 💓
I felt so touched.
During that time, I felt closer than ever to becoming a mother.
On the fourth day after transfer, not counting the transfer day, I secretly took a pregnancy test myself 😂
And there they were — two lines I had never seen before!!!
The excitement was beyond words!!!!!
After that, I went back frequently for blood tests to check whether my HCG levels were good.
Thankfully, I successfully received a positive result.
But there were still many milestones to pass.
The ultrasound needed to confirm whether implantation had occurred properly inside the uterus,
whether there was a gestational sac, a yolk sac, and whether the baby had a heartbeat.
During this process, I experienced bleeding twice.
I am truly grateful to the consultant from the beginning.
Whether it was bleeding or various discomforts during treatment,
she even replied to my messages in the middle of the night and told me how to handle the situation.
Then yesterday, at 9W+4,
on 2024-09-30, I successfully received my graduation certificate from Dr. Li.
I am very grateful to Dr. Li for helping me become successfully pregnant.
I am also deeply grateful to the nurses who accompanied me all the way ❤️❤️
I hope that all future prenatal checkups will go smoothly ❤️ and that I will successfully hold my baby in my arms.
Also, Dr. Li is not cold at all 😂😂
I will always remember that whenever I left the consultation room and said thank you to Dr. Li,
he would always reply, “No need to thank me” 😂
Thinking about graduating from here,
and knowing that for a while I will not be going back as often as before,
or greeting the kind nurses like friends,
makes me feel very emotional and a little sad 😭😭😭
Receiving this feedback on a typhoon day was truly touching.
We wish Ms. Y that her future prenatal checkups and pregnancy journey will continue to go smoothly, and may her dreams come true soon ❤️
Yun-I wishes your dreams come true!
